Visual Spatial Orientation

What is visual-spatial orientation?

Visual-spatial orientation is the ability to identify how far away an object is and to judge the distance between individual objects within space. These objects may also be described on paper or in a spoken form.  

Those with poor visual-spatial skills

- may have issues reading maps and judging time
- may have difficulty with sports
- may have issues with maths i.e. must be able to align numbers correctly to be able to calculate sums
- difficulty reading
